Seriously, the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had anywhere. Great pies, too. Maybe two minutes east off interstate 29 at Exit 84, well worth the stop.

We travel often between Omaha and Kansas City and grew tired of the Subway at Rockport. The White Rose is truly a breath of fresh air. We stopped on a Friday night and found the place to very very good both the food along with the decor were very inviting. We'll be back!

We made a stop on a trip from KC up to Nebraska. While it isn't a five-star restaurant, we had a pleasant meal in a clean restaurant, and that counts for something good. Service was good as well. If we're passing through again, this will be our stop. Likely will be the best in the area.

This is an amazing restaurant!!! The chef's salad is incredible, fresh, and can be ordered with a delicious homemade ranch! The specials are not only fabulous but generous....you'll want to loosen your belt!!! The fresh fried chicken is some of the best I've had and the beef dishes are full of flavor because it's high quality. The weekend buffets are extraordinary!!!!!!!

My dad took us here for breakfast this morning. Love the decor! Rustic & Western. Very cozy! All of the staff was very friendly & accommodating. My hashbrowns were some of the best I have had! My husband ordered the eggs & more and said everything on his plate was great! It took awhile for the food to come out but we werent in any hurry. They had their salad bar set up & let our 5 yr old daughter order that for breakfast. She is a self declared vegetarian. Lol. $38 for 5 people - I thought was very reasonable. Can't wait to go back for lunch sometime!

Spent a week in Mound City for work. Thank goodness for The White Rose. Great, home-cooked meals. St Patrick's Day cabbage and corned beef was amazing.

Yummy alternative to the usual fast food road fare. Right off the highway,very clean. Had lunch there and everything was fresh and well prepared. Will definitely return. Food is mostly fried diner variety, but chef salad was good choice for a bit healthier option.

They have the best coffee! The white rose omelette with hash browns was big enough to share and very good. We also had a pancake (very good) sausage egg and cheese sandwich (nothing special, but good), and orange juice.

A decent little cafe, but I've definitely had better. Biscuits and gravy were so-so but served just lukewarm, not hot. I could taste all sorts of other food from the griddle on my pancake and my husband's eggs - meaning both tasted a bit like bacon and sausage grease. Service was good and my coffee mug was never empty. Some interesting taxidermy pieces on the walls and around the restaurant.
